Personally while I am happy we appear to be getting some quality guards, to bring back the ghost of HC70, I would much rather be bringing in a 6’12” true center that might be able to rebound though I know that does not seem to be a priority for this coaching staff. That player won’t be coming if he can’t hit a three. That’s just the fact. Carmody wouldn’t have recruited Floyd.

Well put, trimster. Positive (and realistic) hope. Realistic: based on what is real rather than what is wanted or hoped for; not impractical or visionaryI know you take great pride in each word of every post being true to its literal definition, so I wonder why you think next year would be the year to break a 17-season trend of consecutive 13+ loss seasons and below .500 conference finishes for Carmody? Given that we are losing our best player, and two of our top six players, the idea that next year would be the one for Carmody to turn things around sounds like an awful lot of hope to me.

I stand by what I said (which is not what you posted). I do not find such a “hope” unrealistic at all. Are you the only one entitled to opinions? Or, is that only when the hope is for a disaster that gets rid of the head coach you seem to have no regard for?

PS: How is “getting things turned around” all of the things that appeared only in your words in your post?
