Caleb, with all that slicing and dicing and shooting.. The PO is gonna be a big change for him with all that passing at the top of the key. Maybe Iona would be a better fit. Bite your tongue!

In a 76-70 win over powerful Vermont Academy Caleb had 13. His coach said that the 3 Proctor D1 seniors dominated both ends of the court as they broke out to a solid lead in the second half.and held on.

CG had 14, leading his team with Baker for a second half comeback to win 71-61' Wednesday they play Cushing for first place. Maybe a big-time individual match-up for Caleb at Cushing - their point guard, Wabissa Bede, is ranked #6 overall in New England and headed to Virginia Tech. Game looks to be available on Webcast - tip-off at 4:30. Easy, free sign-up www.cushing.org/page/athletics/live-webcasts

Cushing, 33-21, at the half. Lots of buffering for me, so difficult to get a sense of things over extended minutes. That said . . .
1. Assuming Bede is 6-0 (as listed on NERR), Caleb looks to be a legit 5-11. Didn't guard Bed all the time, had the speed to stay with him, but got picked off a couple times. Bede clearly much stronger, wanted to post Caleb up. 2. CG clearly a vocal leader, generally played under control, nice stop-and-go changes in his dribble penetration - more of a prober, like Benzan. Good vision, kicked out to the wings when he drove into the paint a couple times. Had a nice little pull up jumper. Missed a three. Nice FT form.

The quality of the video is awful and there is a live mike in the gym, but there is no announcer so its difficult to follow.

The quality of the video is awful and there is a live mike in the gym, but there is no announcer so its difficult to follow. Video is not good - Exeter stream (for Kyle Copeland) is much better. Honestly, though, have not been impressed by what small samples of Copeland I've seen.

Tough to watch this video stream. Cushing up by 19 with 12:42 left.

Proctor now down 47-28. Cushing is toying with them. Better defense and they own the boards. (The light yellow numbers on the white uniforms make the Proctor players almost impossible to identify - not a bad thing a game like this. )

Caleb just had a nice drive and bucket. Does remind me a little of PB.

Proctor loses by 8 (59-51, Proctor scoring at the buzzer). The game was not as close as the 8 point margin would make it seem. CG had a couple of possessions where he went the length of the court for a layup. He did place his teammates defensively on a couple of inbounds plays. He seems to be a strong on-court leader. He does remind me of PB. Hard to tell too much more from this very poor video.

Despite the poor video quality, have to say I like what I saw. Much more like Benzan than Thompson when penetrating - impulse when he got caught down low among the trees was to pass it out to a corner rather than force a shot. More confident outside shooter than Benzan. Dribbles well with either hand, made a driving layup left-handed. A number of good passes to teammates off drives. He got beat defensively a few times, mostly when he was at the top or in the middle of a zone.
