In honor of Russell, Cooz, Heinsohn, Johnny Most, Sam, KC and Red Auerbach, I'll raise my estimate from 13K to 13,909.

If Fitton served wine and cheese at the game that may attract more Yale fans.

Yale students/fans/grads don’t go to the Yale Bowl to watch their team play HC. Why would they schlep to Worcester to see their team play HC?

Athletics has learned that people prefer the 2:00 start. That being said, as you get into late September, daylight can become an issue, especially if there's overtime. Just not practical to have a 2:00 start in October. Daylight necessities trump fan conveniences. Same reason the Bryant game is pushed up to noon. Not sure why Lehigh is at noon. Someone must have forgotten they pushed Daylight Savings time back a week a few years ago

If Fitton served wine and cheese at the game that may attract more Yale fans. Do they serve alcohol at Fitton now? Or at Hart?

Parking passes on baseball field are sold out. Ho Jo’s close to sold out. Idea of the numbers at the game. If you plan on tailgating get there early. I have a buddy starting at 10am for a 2pm game. Hope they see the game 😂😂 I only had tee martoonies..............hic

HC announced more parking at an elementary high school in Auburn, with shuttle service. And shuttles from the Luth lots. I'll guess 12,420. 13,420

Whoever comes closest without going over the actual attendance wins a set of Samsonite luggage and a lifetime subscription to Crossports.

We also got somewhere between 12K and 14K for Harvard in 2007 and UMASS in 2008. Both were the perfect storm of home opener, Homecoming and biggest name home opponent for that year. Sort of an "all eggs in one basket approach". And all had great weather.
Today's game is similar and also comes off the heels of a 2-0 start, an FBS win and highest national ranking since 1991 (speaking of the "Perfect Storm").

I would be surprised if it happened in the last 60 years Well, based on the photo I have in my living room for the BC game in 1986 they let people park in the breakdown lane of the 290 off ramp and God knows where else. Not sure about shuttles though.

Not sure about shuttles though. I remember going up to that game with my father and trying to park. Can’t remember exactly where we parked but it definitely wasn’t somewhere that anyone has parked for a football game since that day.

Freshmen Field and the baseball field took in many more spaces in the 70s and 80s....more pahhking on campus then too I think.
This is really the first time in awhile that pahhking at HC will be stretched to the limit....good problem to have but I hope we don't become like BC in that regard but I don't think it will come to that for most games.
