So now it seems safe to say there is at least (assuming no non senior movements out) 1 slot remaining for 2024-25. Does anyone know if perhaps there are any D2-D3 big guy prospects that might be candidates to move up (like the Middlebury kid that Sacred Heart got this past year; he was pretty good)?

Now that is interesting. Wonder why he wasn't a part of Senior Day

As down as the PL is, I found both games yesterday to be entertaining at least. For Lehigh's sake, hopefully Parolin's knee injury won't keep him out the game Wednesday.

Just dawned on me that Sam Thomson looks a little like Greg Marmalard from Animal House.

I read it, and I've filed it in my Every Dog has His Day folder.
I respect their current program. Still think their announcers are buffoons.

I think in time Green (and maybe Richard) could be slasher types, but I wonder if their bodies will be ready next year for the transition to college.
For me I think the x factor for next year (amongst the returnees) is Ryan; I think he might have the highest ceiling for improvement.....if he can improve his body. It would be nice to have a reliable big (paired with CK) that can step outside and score. Singleton is another kid who I could see taking a nice step up.
Course, we have to wait to see what happens with possible comings and goings over the next few months.

That 39-2 score during the beginning of the game is just unbelievable. Even a poor D-3 team is going to find a way to score more than 2 points before the D-1 team gets to 39.

Our shooters starting to shoot. Are you watching what I am watching. You are correct in that they are shooting but they aren’t finding the net. On the other hand, our D is awful. You are sounding like John McKay talking about his Tampa Bay Bucs

If they dont hit a couple of shots right out of the box it could get ugly.

In both games HC shot 6-22 on threes...while Colgate was 12-23 out there, and 8-19 at the Hart.
FWIW, both of Colgate's 2 league losses came in front of the Cotterell Crazies.

Let's hope Colgate is as awake as their message board (last hoops post 2/29). Would also be nice if the Raidahs can have a bit of an off night shooting the ball.

I thought the defense looked pretty good. Of course it helped that Army didn’t shoot well but maybe the work on defense had something to do with that. Defensively, I thought that DP played Louth more minutes to have Joe N. and Louth cover their center, which kept Caleb off him and thus less likely to foul as well as freed him up to help rim protect. This adjustment also allowed Caleb sometimes to be matched up with Army’s rookie of the year which limited his effectiveness. We also outrebounded Army. All I was going to post earlier was "CDP seemed to do a good job of managing the rotations"....I'm glad I didn't - this tells a lot more.

Pacific went 0-16 in the WCC regular season. Tough to do worse than that.

Looking forward to seeing the game tomorrow night. Not looking forward to listening to that Colgate announcer. He either has a crappy microphone, or he sometimes has it in his mouth when yelling. Wondering what the over/under is on how many times we will hear:
"The Mayor of South Kingstown!" "The Cotterell Crazies!"
As for the game itself, defending that team is challenging for anyone. You pretty much have to pick your poison; bombs away or get carved up inside. Like last night, hopefully the guys can avoid a bad stretch that can take them right out of the game.
Remember 2016!
