I missed Bo’s next team - where is he headed ? UNC Wilmington. Just dawned on me that he and Octave will be going head to head.

Good for Louth; hope he can stay healthy and does well there.. The top 3 seniors did pretty well for themselves, all things considered.

To be fair to the former coach, he also brought in that Gerale Gates fellow; wasn't too bad. Dorsey and Townsel, too. And speaking of Townsel - thinking of him got me thinking about what I wouldn't mind seeing with this last recruit/transfer; maybe a 6-7/6-8 version of him; someone that doesn't have to be a big scorer, but can rebound and defend some, mix it up inside. I think that would complete the rest of the group nicely. IMO someone with 2 years eligibility would also be a best case scenario as well, as it will make the team a bit older (a bit on the young side right now), and it would help balance the classes a bit too. That's not asking for too much, is it?

Welcome Gabe!
Kinda resembles a slightly larger Octave. So, the rising soph class loses Wills, adds Warren. Hoping it turns out to be an upgrade.
Roster is adding some length.....on the perimeter. Hoping for a nice final piece closer to the basket.

So we're basically going from the era where the bigs were dominated by "one and dones" to the entire 360+ schools in the same boat. Swell. It's almost like a 5,000 piece puzzle in a box - each year, 13 pieces are taken out by each school, hoping the pieces match. Then, after the end of the year, some pieces are discarded, some brand new pieces are added, then they are all thrown back into the box....and the process repeats.

Does Smith project to be a high major prospect? Just how big of a bag will he warrant?

This would be a first for Langel, right?
If he goes it's a crushing blow for the league. It's just very depressing.

He's come a long way from speaking to a bunch of people stuffing their faces with pizza and pasta at the old pre-game Hoops Hospitality events.

Does he even have 2 years? One at HC. 2 at SBU...doesn't have the Covid bonus year, right?

Maybe I'll get more excited if there is news soon of a quality transfer signing, but I have to say I am having a really hard time getting pumped up when I think about what lies ahead in terms of the future of the sport.

I really wish the media would spend more (some) time on pointing out the instances where players lost the game of musical chairs.
I also would like to suggest this rule change: any multi time undergraduate transfers will no longer be permitted to wear the uniform of their latest school; rather, they can only play if they wear the John Blutarsky "COLLEGE" sweatshirt.

Before the out in the open $$$ festival aspect of things, the Ivies rarely lost a non graduate to transfer. Now they seem to be getting caught up in the same dank whirlpool. Let's see how long they keep up that lofty (by mid major standards) conference ranking.

If enough folks remain in their traditional seats, would TPTB change their minds and flip back?
Why can't the camera crew be instructed to use that end zone camera more frequently to pan to the south side of the field (and see all the fans in that section)? Seems like a rather drastic step to flip sides; not all change is good.
