One observation--understanding that weight is not as important as strength, speed, quickness, technique--Yale average about 10 pounds more per man than HC on both the OL and DL Size absolutely matters. If HC puts that 175lb freshman FS on the field you can be certain that Yale will identify where he lines up and will power run right at him. Physics says it won’t be pretty. 1. Power running to a FS? - they still have to get past the line and linebackers unless we're in cover 0 all the time. 2. A division 1 FS (whether 175 lbs or 225 lbs) needs to be able make open field tackles.

We beat them so bad, we made their coach retire. End of story.

IHS, just helping but appears you picked both Marist and Georgetown but no pick for the Bucknell-Sacred Heart game. Thanks. I fixed it. Hard to pay attention when I don't care who wins those games.

2 walk on's and 1 TE that did not see the field, even at 6'6", don't make me worry. I'll take Chesney's recruits for the over.

Which Crusader gets that NIL money for endorsing Herbie's? McGuire's?

Given the extra eligibility due to Covid and playing time during Spring, I have no issues with going into the fall season with 2 soph and 1 Fr QB. Obviously nabbing a transfer would be good, but in the case of injury, there are likely 1 or 2 more guys on the roster that can play in this offense in emergency situations.

It has always been the practice to take a semester off for fifth years to play in the fall. If you want a medical redshirt for 5th year, you take second semester of "senior" year off and come back in fall, then graduate in December.

Questioning the swing pass to the short side on 3 and 15. Appeared to be called rather then dump off due to coverage.

I’m feeling the greatest upset in FCS history is about to happen. No offense to App State.
Hearing that SDSU ate bad mutton last night.

Former US Sen Tom Daschle and formahh Pats K Adam Vinatieri are SDSU alums. Vinatieri's great-great-grandfather was the bandmaster for Gen George Armstrong Custer's 7th Cavalry Good - history of losing major battles. HC by 3.

Bucknell sucks. They always sucked and their players were always DBags. There was a pretty nasty one-on-one fight at Fitton between Jim Grady and some Bucknell guy. Ended up right against the metal wall near where the cheerleaders are. Seems on par for Grady. He was always the best alumni game captain/motivator.

The dude he juked from Bucknell, #3, should quit football. He can never make up for that clip if he played for the next 20 years.

For perspective, the Defensive POY chose U Miami over offers from Alabama, Clemson. Cincinnati, Auburn Although they compete in 5A in FL, American Heritage is a higher end HS program, with consistent highly rated recruits. They reclassified the divisions several times, but 5A is the 4th largest (or smallest) division. Even so, this is a major honor for the kid, 8A: 2,356+ 7A: 2,355 – 1,924 6A: 1,923 – 1,582 5A: 1,581 – 1,137 4A: 1,136 – 740 3A: 739 – 361 2A: 360 & below 1A: 600 & below and Rural Designation
