Might be a Pridgen/Kostecka fight to the finish.

My expectations remain low, but one thing Nelson said previously seems true: This team already looks better in January than it did in November.

Unfortunately Pridgen is our only reliable offensive threat right now.
Lowder appears to be playing more under control which is great for long term development, but we’ll need him to find his spots within the offense sooner than later so we can have one than one threat out there.

Big 3 from Wade.... he's clearly getting more comfortable.

Up 39-38 at half. Playing hard.

Up 39-38 at half. Playing hard. I would hope they would be. Anything less is unacceptable.

Another plus effort on the D-boards by the Crusaders (79%).

I'd prefer CLS gets his minutes playing off the ball. I get nervous when he runs the show.
Nice first half; I hope fatigue does not become a factor.

Wade has now played the last 60 minutes without bench time - team-high four boards at the half.

Great halftime interview with Nelson.
He was very quick to jump on establishing a culture and attacking practice and the weight room every day — three areas that have been very very sorely lacking the past few years.
Also loved how he talked about taking ideas from the guys he’s coached with but still being himself.
Of course it will come down to execution and Ws & Ls in the long run, but it appears that he has his focus on all of the major issues that have been plaguing this program.

Lowder definitely looks to be pass-first tonight - penetrating and kicking out last possession, where he might have taken it to the hoop earlier in the year

I like it when he takes it to the hoop

Lowder is a very good offensive player - but needs to keep everybody involved, not just standing around, watching him do his thing

Pridgen and Lowder a combined 12-16 from the field (including 4-4 from 3) for 34 points.
Kostecka already with 28 points.

Loyola making it much tougher for Pridgen to penetrate last few times down court.
