Lowder needs a bright green light from here on out. Game close to out of reach.

Disappointing finish, but I think there's been some improvement.

Loyola zone shut down Pridgen in the 2nd half and only having Lowder as another option is not enough when Koesteka can score at will at the other end.
Nelson is doing a lot of good things with the program but we really just don’t have enough horses right now.

You can only do so much playing basically 6 guys. Faw didn't play that much, didn't do bad, except for the usual quick fouls.
LeSan made a cameo in the first half. No one else earning minutes, it would seem. There's no way under these circumstances Nelson would let any talent rot on the bench; those of you that want to make the case for player x or player y getting time, please consider that.

12 rebounds for Niego-would love to see that every game I just wish he would be a consistent scorer around the rim....He came up short on at least 3 of his 6 footers, and missed that breakaway..... Overall,I would say it was a step in the right direction...Joe P. and Drew L. can score, need to find 2 others who can make a shot.....

Tough night for Butler - has been put in a difficult position trying to be a quasi PG. Just six boards in last two games. Hopefully, he can get back to playing off the ball and mixing it up down low.

Team is just weak in many areas One for instance, CN gets a steal, instead of going in strong and throwing it down, he put up a terrible layup, Loyola gets the break and Kosteka gets the dunk. He’s 4 inches smaller than CN. Big momentum swing. Coach has to figure this thing out with DL, he and JP only consistent players. The rest are bench guys

Off nights for Butler and Wade. We know Ryan can shoot but what is needed is consistency. I hated the final score, but these guys are fun to watch. It will get better.

Pretty clear what Nelson expects - maximum effort and unselfish attitude in practice. Players who exhibit those qualities will get the minutes - others, maybe not so much.

What was the point of not starting Lowder? We have effective players at the 1-4 positions. We have no effective player at the 5 position. We cannot win that way.

This team really needs Copeland back if for no other reason than to give some guys some rest.
Some of the guys are playing way too many minutes and it is showing in the second half when we continue to fade.
Feel bad for Faw - he looks to be trying as hard as he can, but when you have played (and recruited) to play as an outside shooter it is not an transition to now have to play inside the key - same for Niego - but he has adjusted much better. I give both of them credit for trying to make it work.

You have no effective player over 6’5” need new blood. It’s clear what you have on this team, if you still had Green, you could play DL at the 2, which I think is his natural position. You have no PG on this team
