Marco Coleman was just posted on Twitter as the CB we were waiting for. Not on the Signing Day site yet.
5'10/185 CB from Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas. He can play. At one point offered by Texas Tech, Hawaii, Fordham and others.

I would agree. One more - anyone else is a surprise.

He's long, tall and comes off the edge with speed. He's thin, like Simmons.

I think all known commits are now on the list. Still hoping for one or two surprises! Braden Graham not up there yet. Moss, Earle, Haas. And there is 1 DB who should be signing today who will be a surprise to the people on the board. Vegas baby, Vegas.

Omarr Dixon looks to be a fabulous Commit. Offered by a whole host of schools but he’s a CRUSADER now. ✝️🏈💜 #WINNING I'm pretty sure this is going to end up as our highest (or one of) ranked recruiting class when all is said and done, at least according to the ranking sites. It absolutely is. Best class in 30 years (on paper). Keep in mind many of those years they didn't have scholarships. When I say best class - that's based on other offers, tape evaluation. The Anderson/Kuznetsov class worked out pretty well and they weren't highly recruited. So who knows, but in terms of all the stuff the recruiting services look at, it's the best class to enter HC in 30 years in my opinion.

That's correct. He's signing with JMU. I'm not sure why it's still up.

There will be a lot in this so bear with me. It's educated guesses, with some know facts. The team is losing 37 players from the roster: 1 Long snapper, 1 Punter, 18 on Offense, and 17 on Defense. This includes people in the portal (Shorter, Smith - now at Purdue, et al) . It also includes 33 Super Seniors/Seniors. 4 Seniors are returning from what I know - Daddona, Kelly, MacAuley, Kane. There were 108 players on the roster last year. Leaves 75. Today HC added 10 players. So now 85 on the roster. My expectation is a 100 player roster. Before COVID the roster was at 90. First year of COVID - 96. Second - unlimited. I'm just going to assume it will roll back to 100 with only 1 year left of COVID classes. Just a round number that I believe is reasonable after discussion with midwest. Based on what they are losing and what they've gained today I think they will sign another 15 players to get to the 100 - one caveat is if the 2 OL (Miles and the unnamed OL actually sign in the next two days - the signing period remains open til Friday), then I believe they would sign 13. I believe they will have approximately 9/10 schollies for 15 spots or 7/8 schollies for 13 spots if the 2 OL sign. Again educated guesses, but I think very much in the ballpark. I believe their needs will be as follows for the second signing period - these could come via portal or High School signings. In other words a LOT of work to do in 7 weeks, which is really 5 weeks because of XMAS and New Years: 1 QB 1 WR 1 TE 1 or 3 OL 1 LB 2 Safeties 2 CB 1 P/K 3 DEs For those of you who's interest is recruiting please hold me to the above to see how I ended up doing by February 7th - the player part, not the scholly part because ultimately we won't have any idea how the money breaks down, player by player. So I'm going to update this now that the signing window is done. The signee roster does indicate Ashton Booker, which leads me to believe he actually signed his NLI. So I expect 2 OL instead of 1 or 3. Overall I expect 14 spots to be filled to make a roster of 100 total (that could be off a few players, but this is the baseline I'll use). My guess is about 8-9 schollies for 14 spots. QB, DE, CB, OL, the greatest needs. So - let's look to see how badly I predicted. ! QB - looks like 2; Wrong 1 WR - jury still out on possible PWO; Wrong 1 TE - jury still out on possible PWO; Wrong 2 OL - Ended up being 3, but to my defense I wasn't aware of Hohenshelt at the time, so let's call this a draw 1 LB - jury still out on possible PWO; Wrong 2 Safeties - looks like 1; Wrong 2 CB - looks that way; Right 1 K - looks that way; Right 3 DE's - looks like 4 along with 1 DT; Wrong So more wrong than right, in the ballpark on a few; In all reality I don't think it's out of the question to add a PWO WR and LB when it's said and done. Staff did a great job in a short amount of time. I'd argue the best class (on paper) in 30 years. Here's hoping Wednesday works out exactly as they have planned.

He had some committable FBS, but not Ole Miss. Also had a few top tier FCS, but ultimately came down to fit with the campus, coaches, etc. He can sling it.

In this second signing I believe we know about Earle, Moss, Haas, Graham, Rood, McSweeney.
It wouldn’t shock me if we saw additions of:
1 QB 1 OL (maybe 2) 2 CBs 3 DE 1 DL

Terrific pocket presence and Gatorade POY for the state of TN. This kis has some gumption.

It seems like they are going to try to take 2 this class. I would have said 1 about 3 weeks ago, but now it's clear, it appears to be 2.

HC didn't have to let Hohenshelt out of the NLI. There is more to this story than on the surface as you can imagine. Best of luck to the kid and his family. I'm good moving on from it. If he doesn't want to be here, that says enough to me. That said - after the decommit he had offers to Bucknell and Lehigh. But he signs at JMU? If JMU wants him - best of luck.

I don't love talking about a kid's money on the board as other families might look at this and say wait a second.

It's really about CB right now. Hopefully they are going to hit on a couple that are solid players. Most of the other bases are covered.

Is Wheeler the big QB that we were looking at? Is that still in play? No - a different QB was on campus this weekend.
