And to clarify the above on QB. I didn't mean to say it would be one of the two Frosh who will be the #2 on the depth chart. What I meant was that both Frosh will compete with Frattura and Jenkins - so 4 players will be competing for that backup spot.

Curran is excited about the incoming class. I think he expects both Frosh QBs to compete for the #2 spot on the depth chart. Coach Curran stated he could see 2 DBs get decent playing time in this upcoming season. He mentioned Cason as needing to touch the ball as a true Frosh WR. Also you could see a DE get some time. WR, DE and DB will have a lot of competitive battles over the summer and the fall. The OL continues to be a strength and he mentioned McNair as having a very solid Spring. They are deep at LB - just have to figure out where to specifically put guys to maximize their strengths.

Just looked him up-Randy Trivers played in early 1990's and carried the ball 195 times for 660 yards and 2 touchdowns, He also caught 16 passes for 120 yards. Duffner brought him in, played one year for him, 3 for Vaas. Google him to see an assortment of photos, you'll see how short he is; one would have to say he did well to play college football. I played 3 years with him. Great guy. Quite a character.

If we are all about the company we keep how do people feel about this schedule. With a 12 game schedule and only one FBS game isn't this a bit disappointing. Again the Ivies are two solid games, but do absolutely nothing for my interest. Give me Syracuse, another FBS, William and Mary, Richmond, Nova, UNH, and the PL each 12 game season and it is challenging and more enjoyable schedule Aug. 31 at Rhode Island Sept. 7 vs. New Hampshire (Education Appreciation Day) Sept. 14 at Bryant Sept. 21 vs. Yale (Family Weekend) Sept. 28 at Syracuse Oct. 5 at Colgate* Oct. 12 vs. Fordham* (Homecoming / 508 Community Day / First Responders Day) Oct. 19 at Harvard Oct. 26 at Lafayette* Nov. 9 vs. Lehigh* (Spirit Day / Healthcare Heroes Day) Nov. 16 vs. Bucknell* (Senior Day / Military and Veterans Appreciation Day) Nov. 23 at Georgetown* I actually think this is a heck of a schedule. I personally couldn't care less about playing the Ivies every year, but I know it's a local tie, and HC has a long storied history against both schools.

Very well done and entertaining. I'd add the only sport that's not allowed to play post season at Ivies is Football. I honestly don't think it has anything to do with studying for exams - because any other team would have the same argument at the schools. I just think it's something they've always done so why change it. Same goes for NESCAC and inability to play postseason. Anyway it entertained me for 15 minutes.

Please what? He's had transgressions. Do I need to quantify them or "rate" them? Pitino and Sampson are great coaches. I like their hard coaching style. That was the comment.

Excuse me while I digress.
If anyone wants to see some cowardly behavior - look at Pitino's comments over the last 24 hours regarding his team.
Publicly calls them out for playing weak, no lateral quickness, can't defend, can't get to the foul line. All while saying he had to grab whatever players he could when building this roster because it was late in the game. And taking zero accountability while saying it's his most unenjoyable season of his career. When asked if he regrets taking the position - he says it's not St. Johns fault - it's his team's. Goes on to further call out players individually about their lack of quickness and strength.
The guys is an all time great in coaching. In my mind - zero debate. He certainly has had some transgressions over the years, but his basketball acumen and ability to coach is unquestioned. And I like tough coaching and think the sporting world is in need of tougher coaches again (Izzo, Sampson - in college basketball as examples)
This latest rant however - yikes. What a coward.
Who gains by this? In his mind I'm sure he thinks he does by blaming others. He also is probably purposely trying to get kids to transfer out and restock for next year.
I like Pitino as a coach. This? Definitely changes my opinion on some things. But again - I digress.

Considering Midwest created the above I'll let him answer for himself. Here's my two cents:
I think they know what they have in QB, RB and TE and WR. I do think there are important battles to see who backs up Joe at QB, JP at TE, and the #3,#4 WR. Those are important because injuries do occur and need guys to step up to see they could do the job if thrown into the fire.
For me the biggest question comes at OL. Part of it is simply because of their predecessors. They were a top 5 group in the FCS last year and 4 left. They have a new OL coach as well. So to me that group has the best opportunity to go out and earn their spot this Spring. Lots of minutes are up for grabs.

Where does Braden Graham fall on the Qb chart? Impossible to tell yet as the coaching staff really hasn't seen Frattura, Graham, Robinson, Jenkins play in person yet on live reps. Big spring for Frattura and Jenkins to get tons of reps. Even bigger summer for all 4 QBs to create the depth chart.

When you say rank - could you be more specific? Meaning ranking the offensive position groups from strongest to weakest?

At this point I'm not aware of anymore signees. Earle, Haas and Moss are all solid players. Not sure on that, but all 3 have Tweeted their commitments and all 3 are solid adds.
Again - firmly believe it's a fantastic class and they have covered every single need they've had.

Marco Coleman was just posted on Twitter as the CB we were waiting for. Not on the Signing Day site yet.
5'10/185 CB from Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas. He can play. At one point offered by Texas Tech, Hawaii, Fordham and others.
