HC had an edge in time of possession of about 10 minutes (35 min to 25 min). And the defense played well. Coincidence?

Last time we beat a Top 25 team?
That second half defensive effort was the most dominant we've ever seen under TG, IMO.

Cozier turned in the first 100 yard rushing game for a Holy Cross player since PP did it against Lafayette two seasons back. He's the fastest back I have seen at HC in years. He was a 100M sprinter in HS and it shows. Where has he been all season? Never heard his name before. Based on what I saw today, he could have a bright future.

It was mentioned above that he was a wide receiver until two weeks ago. That "next man up" philosophy is clearly NOT a bad idea when it gets results like this.

As to the Massey ratings: How far do you think Harvard will drop from #23 this week? How far will HC climb from 81?

GREAT Win! Very happy for TG and staff, who had a great gameplan coming in. Defense was excellent, and has looked pretty darn good for the majority of the season but have not gotten support from the offense during a some key moments in the losses. Today that support came in the form of outstanding performances by Flaherty, Wieczorek (who is looking like Julian Edelman in the return game), and the encouraging emergengence of Cozier. Let's keep it rolling next week. You forgot to mention Geoff Wade, who did another good job of managing the game, committed zero turnovers, and made some big throws when he had to. That Bucknell loss becomes incredibly frustrating after watching what he did today and at Lafayette. I disagree. Go Cross, Beat Lehigh!

I disagree. Go Cross, Beat Lehigh! Care to explain why? He threw for two touchdowns, no interceptions, and managed the game very well. Be interested to learn where he fell short in your eyes. Nowhere did I say he fell short, I just feel that the game was won by (1) defense (2-4) Flaherty, Wieczorek, Cozier, and feel that we need more from the QB position than anything that we have seen this year. Regarding the revisionist history about sticking with Wade versus Bucknell after two disastrous drives to start the game, we scored 20 points on offense in 4 quarters today, the same amount that we scored in the first half after the QB switch last week. Simply put, we need more to get over the hump.

Biggest win since ? What a defensive effort! Crozier is a game-changer. Crowd was really enthusiastic. That's what winning will do!

Wade should have played the whole game last week and engineered what could have been a game winning drive minus an awful 3rd and 6 call then a missed FG...

Wade was the 4th string QB. Crozier was a hidden WR. Two players that have unquestionably rescued this season. Does this staff evaluate potential/skill adequately?

I don't think this is one of the bettah Haaavhid squads of recent vintage, we'll see.....D was tremendous today....Cozier was eye-opening.....the Lehigh game will be interesting....Pujals is going to red-shirt next year btw....enough with the secrecy.

Against Bucknell, Wade first two series were poor. Both series started with HC deep in its own territory. Whether he was being overly cautious, or was confused by the Bucknell defense, of felt sub-par, he did not play with confidence and seemed slow afoot. Bell replaced him, and Hc put up some scores.
However, Bell showed little passing ability, several times badly overthrowing on deep balls. By game's end, Wade was back.
Without seeing practice, one can't say whether Bell's passing in practice was better than, or the same as his passing in the game. Regardless, Bucknell's defense could cheat against Bell and his passing, and that contributed to the defeat. _________________ Long-range forecast for Lehigh is heavy rain.

Talking about a soph non scholarship kid and and a freshman. Injuries opened up opportunitoes. I would take a much different tact which would be wow the staff can really a stockpile talent.
