Army out of sorts early on, trailing 14-4 at the first commercial break.
Loyola has played 1-3-1 several times down the court and the Cadets are not attacking it well at all.

Aldama unstoppable in the first half v Army and it looks like Spencer is finally starting to heal so Loyola is at full strength for the first time this year. Army’s gotta figure it out at halftime.
I was a little surprised Aldama wasn’t PL POY but that’s another story.

Shocking Loyola MD is headed to the Final.
No doubt in my mind HC beats them in that play in game.
Can't compare this to the HC run. They only have to win 3 games.
Maybe I am sour grapes with Loyola MD but to me watching them this year they are just alright.

Now 56-51 with 5 min left and Aldama hits a long 3 making it 59-51. I wonder where he will be playing next year?

I was a little surprised Aldama wasn’t PL POY but that’s another story. No PL POY has ever come from a team worse than 4th place, so it would have been really unprecedented. Usually the POY is from a top two team. That is the voting philosophy of many PL coaches.

Loyola wins. Army has to be kicking themselves for that horrendous first 10 minutes. 21-6.

Loyola very talented but way too many unforced turnovers no way can they beat Colgate unless they clean up that aspect of their game.

Going into the last regular season game between Laffy and Lehigh we finish 8 or 9 Could be an interesting playoff Loyola just might have a chance to repeat HC/2016 if they can figure out how it wants to play-glad they are on the other half if we move forward. Got it wrong that we would be on opposite sides of the bracket, but with one more game to play history could almost repeat with a 9 seed

Meeks (POY) played just 4 regular season games for the 6th seed Bucknell team and was never the PL Player of the Week.

It looks like Bucknell has never seen the pick and roll before, Records might get 40.

Spectacular defensive play by Richardson in transition, then finishes the half with a crazy three at the buzzer

Richardson is the glue guy on that team he plays great defense and can guard the 1-4 positions, is a great passer and makes big shots.

With 16 minutes to go the only question is whether Colgate will score 100 points

They did hit 100 and dominated Bucknell all night. This game makes HC's play again st Colgate look better by comparison. How things will shake out next year is anyone's guess but I see HC being a contender (top 4).
