Playing in the Patriot League North prepared them well

I hadn’t looked closely at this situation until now. But I see that Navy played their game Sunday in their normal home gym. If they were able to play a regular league game on Sunday, I don’t see why they can’t play a tournament game there as well. bison, the gates are closed to outsiders at Annapolis. Even if you have credentials to visit, you can't Both Navy and Loyola say that tomorrow's game is being played at Navy's Alumni Hall, inside the gates.

Great game Loyola knocks off Navy who played without Davis and Njoku. Loyola has some quality bigs in addition to Aldama have 6'10's Dike and a skilled freshman from Spain. Both these teams will be loaded next year.

Meeks hasn't played a lot of games this season but he's some kind of scorer has 23 at half as Bucknell up 9 at Lafayette.

So Colgate vs Bucknell and Loyola vs Army.
Really hope the league isn't represented by a 5-10 team (Unless it was us!).

Would expect Colgate to win next two games easily. Today was the day to beat them only made 25% of threes and Woodward didn't play. Ferguson made a lot of big plays for them, a very under rated player on that team. Loyola has a lot of talent and I expect them to beat Jekyll and Hyde Army. Loyola is the team to watch out for next year if they stay healthy which always seems to be an issue with them. Too bad Navy didn't have Davis and Njoku today they probably would have beaten Loyola and I think gave Colgate all they could handle. They will be very good again next year.

Was hoping Navy could in but the injuries were to much to overcome. Loyola would have gotten beat by HC and we could be headed to the Semi Final. I'm sad.
I have been watching Umass Lowell and they are headed to the final after beating UMBC in the semi finals. Kid on Lowell hit 9 threes in the game! 9! With Hartford beating Vermont.
Lowell vs Hartford for the Final!

I'm rooting for Army now since they've never been in the tournament. Just a lot of balance in the league; lose a key player or two and you get bounced. I think any of the 4 could take it. I probably say this every year, but there seems to be a lot of good young players in the league right now.

All frosh or sophs. That’s great for them but I’d like to see us land a big guy who, like those 5, can make big PL contributions early.

The league in general will have good big men returning next year making it imperative that Rabinovich and Louth take big steps forward. I wouldn't expect that the league will allow this years seniors to return but if they do it will make big difference for BU, Bucknell, American and Lafayette in particular.

Bucknell had a very good freshman big - 7' Andre Screen - who's averaged 8p/7r in 20mpg. Those are better numbers than their senior center, Paul Newman, had, and Screen has big upside.

Can we all fervently hope that yesterday was the last time we'll see a team wearing masks in a men's college basketball game?

Navy cut down the nets after winning the regular season championship in a year where they played an unbalanced schedule and didn’t play half the teams in the league at all. Kind of makes me happy Loyola won even though I usually root for the academies when they’re not playing HC.

It's very unlikely Bucknell will allow any seniors to return. Bucknell administration has generally been opposed to allowing 5th year players in any sport for many years. I think the schools that are most likely to benefit are those with major grad programs, i.e. Lehigh, Boston U, and American.

Such a screwed up year, Navy was awarded the championship based on the fact that they played one more league game and never had to play the team that had the same amount of losses. In their defense they did win their final two regular season games without their best player and best big man.

Engelstad and the Mount are dancing. Great effort beating Bryant, has his guys playing defense and a deliberate offense. He can coach! Nice guy too.

The only slower team is Tony Bennett's Virginia squad. Joe Scott's 5-19 Air Force team is only a couple of spots higher.

Slow pace or not, when you attack the offensive glass the way MSM did you're going to have a good chance to win. Bryant had no answers for MSM's strong, athletic inside guys. MSM also seemed better prepared to impose their will on the game. I assume they'll be playing in the initial round, but good for Coach E.
