Very sad news. He was the best mentor I had at HC and learned more from him than any other administrator/professor. Thank you Fr. K, your legacy will last forever in the history books of Holy Cross. A tremendous person through and through.

Exactly! This Railers owner has two forces working against him: 1.) ECHL Failing 2.) Minor (minor) league hockey in Worcester failing City of Worcester: ARE YOU PAYING ATTENTION? OR ARE THE SHINY GOLD COINS BLINDING YOU AGAIN???

I think these letters are not worth the paper they're written on, nor the data space used for transmittal. Don't apologize. Just show us tangible evidence that you are not only thinking about our program, but actually know what the Hell you're doing in order to fix it. I agree 100%. But what does it say about their commitment to the program when complete sentences were plagiarized from this article? VERY disappointed!

This is months old, been posted here before, and a speculative list, not a "finalist" list by any means. Yes it's old but rumors swirling that he is a finalist.......

A total debacle this weekend. Just awful! All posters who say we shouldn't join HE because we need to win games first have no idea what they're talking about. Look at UCONN, did they ever win the Atlantic Hockey Championship? They won the MAAC once in 2000, but I believe that did not even get a bid to NCAAs. Now look at them. HC is committed to HE, it is the city of Worcester and Railers owner holding us up. HC is all in. However that is not to say HC has no blame in this if we don't get into HE. Failing to address the hockey rink during the renovations put us in this position.

Sad that the hacks in Worcester don't think this logically. They should be bending over backwards to fill the DCU Center as many nights a year as possible. Not the case. You keep saying this but provide zero evidence. Who are the hacks opposing HC at the DCU? TIM MURRAY!

The hacks that caved to d-bag owner of the Railers when he put up a stink over HC starting HE play the same season as his team b/c he most likely threatened to stop funding on current building projects. City will have egg on its face when this two-bit outfit draws about 900 a game as soon as every kid has been once a brought a foam finger and a key chain. m D-bag owner? Are we really sinking to this level. I don't think that is a way to build community support for a move to HE. This man is investing $18 million on a site that was an eyesore. Good for him. Yes good for him but the city is blinded by his gold coins. There is a huge possibility the ECHL wont even be around in 3-5 years let alone a single franchise. There is no reason why the two cannot exist and Worcester can hedge their bets with Ice Hockey by incorporating HC into the fold. SAD!!!

There were a couple of PL games where we drew in the 500 range during the 2014-15 season. Given that this isn't part of a double-header, it's hard to see there being more than a couple hundred people in attendance. Snow storms to blame for those?

I would like to see HCTG call the defense. He is a defensive coach and this was our biggest issue in 2016 IMO. Go all in on HCTG let the DC go, then evaluate at end of 2017.

Whether you like the decision or not, I'm glad ADNP addressed the issue. FADDR would not have.

Reliable source says that TG isn't going anywhere. If that is the case I would not expect HC to issue any type of statement.

All the box seats are empty, looks like they did not sell those seats. My guess it appears empty on TV.

I'm currently at Yankee stadium and this is beyond pathetic! DRAIN THE SWAMP! Ton of empty seats on the FU side. Can't see the HC side on the video. Is it more crowded than the FU side? Maybe slightly more HC fans but a very large Fordham student section puts them over the top.
